Hookups

When working at a residence, we typically use a standard 110V electrical outlet and a standard water connection. Our electric pressure washer is clear-coat safe and operates quietly, eliminating the need for loud gas equipment.

If water or power is not available, we can provide our own quiet inverter generator when necessary. All hoses and extension lines are supplied by us.

Vehicle Documentation

We document every vehicle with detailed photos and videos before and after service. This protects both you and Shine On Detailing Solutions by clearly recording the vehicle’s condition and the work performed.

Pre-existing damage such as scratches, dents, rock chips, cracked glass, interior wear, or trim defects will be documented prior to service.

Extremely Dirty Vehicles

Vehicles that are heavily soiled — such as those not cleaned for an extended period, used for off-roading, transporting pets or sports equipment, or containing excessive mud, debris, stains, or buildup — may require significantly more time, labor, and product than a standard service allows.

In these situations, a surcharge of up to 20% may be applied to the selected package to account for the additional work required to meet our detailing standards.

We are committed to full transparency. Any pricing adjustment will always be discussed and approved prior to beginning the service so there are no surprises.

Expectations

We strive for excellence in every service. However, results are limited by the age and existing condition of your vehicle.

Before beginning work, we review the vehicle with you and identify any areas that may not be restored to like-new condition. This can include etched brake dust, curb rash, deep scratches or dents, severe staining, fading, or worn interior surfaces.

Some defects are permanent or require repair beyond the scope of detailing. Our priority is clear communication and delivering the best possible result within your vehicle’s condition.

Ceramic Coating Warranty Policies

Warranty Term by Package

Warranty coverage begins on the date of installation and applies for the following periods, provided all maintenance requirements are met:

  • Pro Gloss Coating: 5-Year Limited Warranty

  • Premium Protection Coating: 6-Year Limited Warranty

  • Elite Gloss Coating: 10-Year Limited Warranty

  • Elite Protection Coating: 10-Year Limited Warranty

Warranty Coverage

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and the specific vehicle treated by Shine On. It is non-transferable.

The warranty covers premature failure of the ceramic coating due to verified product defect or installation error.

Covered failures may include:

  • Significant loss of gloss not attributable to normal wear

  • Oxidation beneath an intact coating

  • Chemical staining caused by coating failure

  • Abnormal hydrophobic loss inconsistent with expected performance

If a valid claim is approved, Shine On will re-prepare and re-apply the coating to the affected area at no charge.

This warranty applies to the coating itself only. It does not cover repainting, paint correction, physical damage, or compensation for vehicle damage.

Scratches, rock chips, swirl marks, vandalism, accidents, environmental damage, and paint failure are not covered. Ceramic coatings are durable but not immune to physical damage.

Maintenance Requirements

To maintain warranty coverage, all warrantied coatings must be professionally maintained by Shine On every three months. Quarterly maintenance is mandatory.

Quarterly service allows us to:

  • Safely wash the vehicle

  • Remove bonded contamination

  • Inspect coating performance

  • Apply approved ceramic toppers as needed

Maintenance visits may include:

  • Safe hand wash

  • Light clay treatment if required

  • Chemical decontamination when necessary

  • Application of approved topper or booster

  • Performance inspection and documentation

Failure to complete scheduled quarterly maintenance permanently voids warranty coverage.

Owner Responsibilities Between Visits

Between scheduled maintenance visits, the vehicle must be properly cared for.

Owners agree to:

  • Wash by hand using pH-balanced automotive shampoo

  • Use clean microfiber towels and safe washing techniques

  • Avoid automatic brush car washes

  • Avoid harsh detergents, acidic cleaners, or abrasive tools

  • Remove bird droppings, bug splatter, tree sap, and salt promptly

  • Avoid applying non-approved waxes, sealants, or coatings

Improper washing methods or chemical misuse may void warranty coverage.

Third-Party Polishing or Surface Correction

Coated surfaces must not be polished, compounded, wet sanded, or mechanically corrected by any third party without prior written approval from Shine On.

Mechanical polishing removes or compromises ceramic coatings. Unauthorized polishing voids warranty coverage for the affected area.

If polishing has occurred, Shine On may inspect the vehicle and re-prepare and re-apply coating at the client’s expense. Warranty coverage may be reinstated for that area after proper reapplication.

Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from automatic brush washes or abrasive washing methods

  • Road debris, accidents, vandalism

  • Off-road or racing use

  • Commercial use unless pre-approved

  • Hard water spotting left untreated

  • Pre-existing paint defects, rust, or rock chips

  • Body shop repairs performed after coating

Failure to follow the required maintenance schedule or allowing unauthorized third-party services voids warranty coverage.

Shine On is not responsible for consequential losses, diminished value, or loss of vehicle use. Liability is limited to the cost of the original coating service.

Claims Process

Any suspected coating failure must be reported within 30 days of discovery.

Shine On will inspect the vehicle to determine whether the issue is due to product defect or installation error.

If the claim is approved:

  • Shine On will re-apply coating to the affected area

  • The customer is responsible for any required paint repair prior to reapplication

Missed maintenance visits permanently void warranty coverage.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Updated: 02-16-2026

Shine On Detailing Solutions is committed to delivering a professional mobile detailing and ceramic coating experience. We appreciate your trust in our services and want to clearly outline the terms and conditions that govern our work. These policies are designed to protect both you and our business while providing transparency regarding the scope and limitations of our services.

The most important policies are outlined below under “Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy” and “Vehicle Terms.”

By scheduling any service with Shine On Detailing Solutions, you acknowledge and agree to all terms contained in this document.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

At this time, we do not require a deposit to secure an appointment.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you provide reasonable notice so we can adjust our schedule and offer the appointment time to another client. We understand that plans can change and will make every effort to accommodate rescheduling when possible.

Cancellations made within 8 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a $25 cancellation fee. This fee is intended to offset lost time and scheduling opportunities that could have been allocated to other customers.

Vehicle Terms

Please ensure that all personal belongings, money, and valuables are removed from the vehicle prior to service. For safety and liability reasons, Shine On Detailing Solutions does not handle or relocate personal property.

If our technicians are delayed more than 15 minutes due to personal items not being removed, we reserve the right to charge for lost time at our discretion. This policy also applies to late arrivals by the client.

Excessive trash and debris must be cleared before our arrival. If significant trash remains, a $50 Trash Removal Fee may be applied at our discretion.

Glove compartments, center consoles, and other enclosed storage areas containing personal belongings will not be cleaned for privacy and liability reasons.

Child car seats and booster seats must be removed prior to service. If left in the vehicle, we will clean around them but cannot guarantee complete results in those areas. For safety and liability reasons, we do not uninstall or reinstall car seats under any circumstances.

Condition-Based Pricing

Pricing is based on vehicle size and condition. By booking service, you acknowledge that pricing may vary upon inspection depending on soil level, time required, and overall condition. Any adjustments will be discussed and approved prior to beginning work.

Additional fees may apply for excessive pet hair, staining, odor remediation, hazardous materials (including mold, biological waste, or chemical spills), or other abnormal conditions.

Cleaning Limitations

While we strive to achieve the best possible results, complete removal of pet hair, sand, stains, and odors cannot be guaranteed. Some contamination may be permanent or deeply embedded beyond the scope of standard detailing.

Odor removal often requires specialized treatment and may not be resolved through cleaning alone.

We aim for a streak-free window finish; however, environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity may occasionally cause slight film. If this occurs, allowing the glass to cool and wiping with a microfiber towel typically resolves the issue.

We are not responsible for failure of heavily worn, fragile, or compromised components. Dirt buildup may conceal pre-existing wear on buttons, knobs, trim, or delicate materials that becomes visible after cleaning.

Headliners are cleaned carefully and conservatively. Aggressive cleaning can loosen adhesive and cause sagging. For this reason, some staining may remain, and we may decline further cleaning if materials appear unstable.

Brake dust that has bonded or etched into wheel finishes may not be fully removable. In such cases, repair or refinishing may be required.

Bird droppings, bug splatter, sap, and tar can chemically etch paint if left untreated. Some etching may not be fully correctable without compromising clear coat thickness.

Exterior trim may be beyond restoration and may require replacement. While we attempt to restore faded trim when included in service, full restoration cannot be guaranteed.

Durability of waxes, sealants, and coatings depends on proper maintenance. Improper washing methods or neglect may reduce expected longevity.

On-Site Service Terms

Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of the service. Prompt payment is required as a condition of service.

If a client cancels repeatedly or fails to respect scheduling commitments, Shine On Detailing Solutions reserves the right to require full prepayment to secure future appointments. We also reserve the right to refuse service if scheduling or payment terms are not honored.

Appointments may be rescheduled or modified due to weather conditions, staff illness, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and arrange an alternative appointment time.

For safety reasons, clients and bystanders must maintain a minimum distance of 10–15 feet from the active work area. Detailing equipment, extension cords, hoses, and chemicals present potential trip or slip hazards. If communication is required during service, please signal a technician from a safe distance.

Clients are responsible for accurately disclosing the condition of the vehicle prior to service. If hazardous materials or unsafe conditions (including but not limited to biological waste, mold, bodily fluids, or chemical contamination) are discovered upon inspection and were not disclosed at the time of booking, Shine On Detailing Solutions reserves the right to refuse service and may require partial payment to compensate for travel time and scheduled labor.

Drop-Off & Courtesy Shuttle Policy

Shine On Detailing Solutions offers a limited courtesy shuttle service for drop-off clients.

Complimentary Courtesy Shuttle

Clients located within approximately 5–10 minutes driving distance from our facility may be eligible for complimentary round-trip shuttle service (drop-off and pickup), subject to availability.

Eligibility is determined at our discretion based on distance, traffic conditions, scheduling, and operational workload.

Clients Outside Complimentary Range

For clients located beyond 10 minutes driving distance, we recommend arranging alternate transportation (Uber, ride-share, family, or friend).

We are not a transportation provider, and extended-distance shuttle service is not guaranteed.

In certain cases, such as multi-day ceramic coating services, extended shuttle accommodations may be offered at our discretion.

Vehicle Storage & Overnight Policy

Vehicles left on-site, including overnight storage, are stored at the owner’s risk.

Shine On Detailing Solutions is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from theft, vandalism, fire, natural disaster, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

Clients are responsible for maintaining active and adequate vehicle insurance coverage.

While reasonable care is taken to secure all vehicles, we do not assume liability for unforeseeable or uncontrollable events.

Keys & Access

Clients are responsible for providing a functional key or fob. Shine On Detailing Solutions is not responsible for pre-existing key malfunctions, battery failure, or electronic issues.

If a vehicle becomes inoperable due to pre-existing mechanical or electrical issues, additional time and service charges may apply.

Mechanical Condition Disclaimer

By leaving your vehicle with Shine On Detailing Solutions, you confirm that it is in safe and operable condition, including functional brakes, steering, transmission, and tires.

We are not responsible for mechanical failures unrelated to detailing services.

Photo / Video Rights

By scheduling service with Shine On Detailing Solutions, you grant permission for us to capture and use photographs and video footage of your vehicle before, during, and after service for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes. This may include use on our website, social media platforms, advertising materials, and other digital or print media.

We will not publish personal information, home addresses, or license plate numbers without explicit consent. If you do not wish for your vehicle to be used for marketing purposes, you must notify us in writing prior to the start of service.

Service Guarantee

If the service provided does not reasonably reflect the package purchased, or if there is clear evidence of workmanship falling below professional standards, Shine On Detailing Solutions will, at its discretion, either correct the affected portion of the service or issue a partial refund.

Concerns must be raised during the post-service inspection or within 24 hours of service completion. Failure to report issues within 24 hours voids the Service Guarantee.

If a client declines a reasonable opportunity for us to correct the issue, any refund will not exceed 20% of the total service value.

The Service Guarantee applies only to services included in the original order or any additional services authorized prior to completion.

The Service Guarantee does not cover limitations disclosed in our Vehicle Terms, including but not limited to permanent staining, etched paint, worn materials, headliner instability, embedded pet hair, or pre-existing damage.

Payment Terms

Payment is due immediately upon completion of service.

Failure or refusal to remit payment voids the Service Guarantee. Any redo services, adjustments, or goodwill accommodations will be at the sole discretion of Shine On Detailing Solutions.

The booking client agrees to participate in both a pre-inspection and post-inspection of the vehicle. Failure to participate in either inspection forfeits any right to refund or corrective action.

All claims must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of service completion and must include supporting photographs. Claims may be submitted to the email address provided at time of booking.

Failure to disclose known pre-existing conditions at the time of booking — including excessive staining, odors, biological waste, mold, chemical contamination, or other hazardous materials — voids the Service Guarantee.

If recommended corrective services necessary to achieve desired results are declined by the client, the Service Guarantee may be limited or voided at our discretion.

General Terms and Conditions, Terms of Payment, Legal Fees, and Disputes

Full payment is required prior to the release of any vehicle or product. Vehicles and products will not be released until payment has been processed in full.

Any invoice not paid upon completion of service is considered past due. The client agrees to be responsible for all reasonable collection costs associated with unpaid balances, including but not limited to administrative costs, collection agency fees, legal fees, court costs, and interest at a rate of 18% per annum.

By accepting the completed service, product, or vehicle, the client acknowledges that the work has been performed as agreed. It is the client’s responsibility to inspect the vehicle or product at the time of pickup.

Any disputes regarding services or invoices must be submitted in writing within three (3) days of the invoice date. After three days, the invoice will be deemed accepted in full. Clients must provide a clear written explanation of any disputed items. If an error is determined to be the responsibility of Shine On Detailing Solutions, appropriate corrections will be made.

Shine On Detailing Solutions is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles or items left inside vehicles resulting from fire, theft, accidents, vandalism, natural disasters, or other events beyond our reasonable control. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or products.

Clients are responsible for reviewing the Terms & Conditions available on our website prior to booking services.

Estimates

Estimates are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time. They are valid for 30 days and are subject to change based on further inspection or additional findings.

Vehicle Inspection/Condition

A pre-service inspection will be conducted prior to beginning work. During this inspection, visible defects, damage, or areas of concern may be noted and discussed with the client. It is the client’s responsibility to clearly communicate expectations regarding the desired outcome of the service.

Shine On Detailing Solutions is not responsible for pre-existing damage, including but not limited to scratches, chips, cracks, fading, oxidation, prior repair work, interior wear, or compromised materials.

Clients acknowledge that certain services — including paint correction, polishing, and ceramic coating — may increase the visibility of pre-existing defects that were previously concealed by dirt, oxidation, fillers, or waxes. These outcomes do not constitute damage caused by our services.

Pre-existing damage may also impact the performance or longevity of coatings, sealants, and other protective treatments.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any vehicle based on condition, safety concerns, or other operational considerations.

Changes/Corrections/Errors

Shine On Detailing Solutions reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or pricing discrepancies related to service descriptions, estimates, promotions, or availability at any time without prior notice.

Service availability, pricing, and specifications are subject to change based on operational requirements.

By booking or scheduling service with Shine On Detailing Solutions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

Thank you for taking the time to review our policies. Shine On Detailing Solutions is committed to delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining a safe, professional, and respectful environment for both our clients and our team.

We appreciate your trust and look forward to serving you.
