Yes. In addition to our mobile detailing service, we offer drop-off appointments at our private garage location by appointment only. This option is ideal for larger services such as Full Details, paint enhancement, or ceramic coatings where a controlled indoor environment is preferred.

Do you need anything from me?

The only thing we need from you is access to your home’s power and water supply, and to unlock the doors if you’ve chosen an interior detailing service. We also require a safe place to park within approximately 50 feet of the vehicle so we can properly set up our equipment.

If we’re coming to an office or another location where power and water aren’t available, we can bring our own electricity and water if needed.

What form of payment can I use?

We accept cash, E-transfer, and debit/credit. Payment is requested after the job is completed to ensure your satisfaction.

How long does it take?

The duration of a job can vary from one to four hours, depending on the package you choose. For paint correction and ceramic coating services, the job may last up to six hours, and in some cases even longer. When you book an auto detail, we'll provide you with an estimated time and schedule your appointment accordingly.

What happens if my vehicle is heavily soiled?

We can handle heavily soiled vehicles, including pet hair, stains, and built-up grime. If a vehicle requires additional cost  and time due to excessive buildup, we will communicate that before beginning the service.

Our goal is to restore your vehicle properly — not rush the job.

For most vehicles, we recommend a full interior and exterior detail at least every 6 months, including an iron decontamination to remove embedded brake dust and fallout that regular washing won’t address.

However, the more frequently you maintain your vehicle, the better it performs and the easier it is to protect. Quarterly detailing is ideal for most drivers. Monthly maintenance is the gold standard for maximum protection, long-term paint preservation, and lower cost per visit over time.

We'll hook up to your home’s power and water supply to begin our work. If your appointment is at an apartment or office, we can bring our own power and water to serve you!

On average, our mobile detailing services take about an hour and a half for a standard-sized vehicle in average condition. You can rest easy knowing that Shine On Detailing Solutions does not charge hidden fees or travel fees, and we don’t require payment until the job is complete to ensure your full satisfaction. Do you come to me?

Yes — we offer both mobile service and drop-off service for smoke and odor removal.

For light to moderate smoke odors, we can often perform the treatment at your home or workplace, provided there is adequate ventilation and access to power.

For heavier smoke contamination, we strongly recommend our indoor, climate-controlled Victoria Village location. This allows us to:

Control airflow and humidity
Perform deep interior treatment and controlled drying
Ensure proper ventilation after deodorization
Deliver stronger, longer-lasting results

Please note: drop-off service is available for most small to mid-size vehicles and standard SUVs. Oversized vehicles such as full-size trucks, lifted vehicles, and extra-large SUVs may need to be serviced via our mobile option due to indoor space limitations.

Do you need access to water or power?

For mobile service, we prefer access to a standard electrical outlet and water source when available.

However, it’s not required. If you’re in an apartment building, underground parking, or at your workplace, we can arrive fully self-contained with our own water and power supply.

For drop-off appointments at our indoor Victoria Village location, no utilities are needed from you.

What’s the difference between Bio-Bombs and ozone?

Ozone can reduce odor, but it often settles lower in the vehicle and may not fully reach upper areas like headliners, pillars, and roof liners where smoke residue collects. It also typically requires extended ventilation and sometimes multiple treatments.

We use Bio-Bomb chlorine dioxide (ClO₂), which disperses more evenly throughout the cabin and penetrates vents, seams, fabrics, foam, and hard-to-reach areas more effectively.

Combined with our full interior cleaning and steam process, this allows us to address multiple odor sources — not just circulate a gas through the vehicle.

The result is deeper, more consistent odor neutralization without a lingering ozone smell.

Is the treatment safe for leather, plastics, and electronics?

Yes.

Chlorine dioxide neutralizes odor at the molecular level rather than covering it up. It does not leave heavy fragrances, chemical residue, or oily films behind, and it is safe for plastics, fabrics, leather, and interior surfaces when applied correctly.

Immediately after treatment, there may be a faint, clean chlorine-type scent. This is normal and temporary. With proper ventilation, it dissipates quickly and leaves the interior smelling neutral and refreshed — not perfumed or chemically masked.
